In addition, SMi has high-level expertise in security solutions for buildings and the people within. Through specialization in threat and risk assessment, security policies and procedures preparation, functional program development, and security system design and implementation, we are able to propose integrated solutions that meet our customers’ needs. Depending on the situation, these could include sophisticated security systems (digital cameras, biometric scanners, various detectors and event analysis software) linked to detection and inspection equipment (of explosives, CBRNs and drugs) or any other physical protection measure. Our solutions are based on Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) techniques, all within the framework of a detailed management process.
