Telecommunication: SMi’s advanced technology in Algeria
SMis’ Telecommunication Department was recently awarded a major contract in Algeria. Once again, Sonatrach has hired SMis’ specialists for the implementation of their new backbone data/voice transmission network covering more than 1,000 kilometers in the greater Algiers region.
Done as a turnkey formula, this project will carry all the data/voice traffic in one, efficient and secure infrastructure whose goal is to optimize the operation and maintenance of their network.
This contract for the construction and update of this transmission network is directly related to SMis’ extensive experience in systems integration. Relying on our expertise and thanks to the diversity and flexibility of our team who, are committed to remain abreast of all technological advances, SMi will once again deliver a transmission network customized to Sonatrachs’ specifications.
Through SMi, Sonatrach will be able to offer its users a network that complies with international requirements and standards, and at the same time, meet their current and future needs.
